Third and fourth graders at Greene County, Paton-Churdan, and those who are home-schooled are invited to create a conservation poster using the theme “Water Is Life” for the annual Greene SWCD (Soil & Water Conservation District) contest.
Information has been sent to local schools. Rules and information can also be obtained by calling Amber Kenan at 515-386-3817 ext. 3.
Prizes will be awarded.
Posters must be submitted by Friday, March 8, at 4pm. They can be mailed or dropped off at the Greene SWCD, 1703 N Elm St, in Jefferson.
