National Honor Society inducts new members at GrCoHS

The Greene County High School chapter of the National Honor Society inducted new members in November.

Students with a minimum 3.25 grade point average were invited to complete a membership application that included an essay. Selection was done by a committee of high school teachers based on demonstrated excellence in scholarship, leadership, service and character.Dr Leah Renwanz, a 2009 Jefferson-Scranton graduate was the speaker. The initiation was followed by a reception. 

New members of the National Honor Society for 2018-19 are (front, from left) Emily Hofer, Kaitlin Tjostem, Sophia Ausberger, Ellie Madson, Tieryn Tucker, Abby Kozal, Izzy Bravard, Aubrey Heupel, Sophia Havens, Julia Saul and Paige Heaning; and (back, from left) Joe Anderson, Austin Delp, Brock Wuebker, David Richter, Claire Teusch, Kirsten Lamoureux, Kassie Lamoureux, Will Hansen, Colby Kafer, Cole Betts and Jacob Hanson.

 

They joined members Jordan Aubrey, Arthur Bardole, Samantha Behne, Gina Brown, Melanie Doran, Linsey Kitt, Naomi Long, Bailey Monthei, Kara Reed, Sydney Roberts, Emma Schroeder and Morrgan Zmolek.
