The Directors were Jon Mills, and Jo Bardole. It included the usual cast of characters; Mary, Joseph, angels, and inn keeper, shepherds, readers, and a “Mouse”!  ~submitted by Jo Bardole and Phyllis Bardole

Christmas Eve Service will be Monday, Dec.24, at 7 pm.

Jean Borgeson attended the children’s Christmas program at Gethsemane Christian Academy in Tempe, AZ, on Wednesday evening Dec. 12. Sophia and Jayden, who are in Kinder-Prep, were part of the program. The school’s musical director, Mrs. Rogers, composed “A Joyful Christmas Story” for this year’s program.

The children were dressed in the traditional characters of Gabriel, Mary, Joseph, townspeople, shepherds, angels, wise men, animals and kings. This particular play had five kings, as there was a mix-up by the teachers who wer- supposed to furnish the actors. There were 87 participants from 2-year olds to Kindergarten and the singers sang many traditional Christmas songs. Of course I enjoyed the program and it brought back the many memories of my directing Jr. Choir in Rippey. Yes, our shepherd (who had a last minute speaking part) and our townsperson were especially attentive to their director. There were two sets of risers, and not one actor fell off! Mrs. Rogers should be pleased
