Staff at Whiterock Conservancy invite everyone who wants to spend an afternoon in one of the most natural parts of Iowa to bring their Gator similar vehicle for a trail ride Sunday, Aug. 19.
“Spend the afternoon enjoying the sun and watching nature thrive with your family and friends,” a spokesperson said.
It will be a 13-mile ride through the trees and trails of Whiterock with some amazing views. The drive will begin from the pond area at the Garst Farmhouse, 1390 Highway 141, Coon Rapids. Park in town and use the underpass near the golf course to access Whiterock. Limited parking will be available at the Garst Farm complex.
