The FFA breeding swine show was held Aug. 9 at the Iowa State Fair. Abby Badger of rural Jefferson showed the champion Berkshire gilt. She is a member of the Horn of Plenty FFA chapter at Greene County High School.
In a weed identification contest Friday, Aug. 10, Aiden Anderson of Paton placed second in the youth division. Charles Carpenter of Coon Rapids placed third in the professional division.
