In Greene County district court charges against Gary Lee Warnke, 63, of Scranton of sex abuse- second degree and lascivious acts with a child- fondle, touch were dismissed May 31 on a motion of the state, “in the interest of justice.”
Persons pleaded not guilty as follows: Nichelle Nicole Howard, 23, of Boxholm, operating while intoxicated- first offense; Kylene Suzanne Rabourne, 39, of Grand Junction, theft- first degree, forgery, and identity theft more than $1,000 but less than $10,000; and James Marvin Holmberg, 53, of Boone, possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana. Howard’s trial date was set for July 17. Trial dates for Rabourne and Holmberg were set for Aug. 21.
Information is available since the return of an arrest warrant that Randa Sue Pederson, 21, of Lake City has been charged with possession of marijuana- first offense and possession of methamphetamine. The warrant was issued Feb. 27 and returned May 14.
Cases were initiated in district court during the week ending June 7 as follows: Ryan Michael Vaughn, 27, of Farnhamville, possession of marijuana- first offense and operating while intoxicated- first offense; Ashlee Kaye Agan, 26, of Jefferson, burglary- third degree; Riley Isaiah Walstrom, 23, of Jefferson, burglary- third degree; and Jon Michael Johnson, 29, of Jefferson domestic abuse assault causing injury or mental illness.
