P-C holds Achievement Breakfast for students grades 9-11

Paton-Churdan held its third annual Achievement Breakfast Tuesday.  Students in grades 9-11 with a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or above were invited for a breakfast and recognition. This year 21 students attended the breakfast.

“The tradition has been well received. The students enjoy the big breakfast and staff enjoy the opportunity to celebrate the hard academic work of our students,” said school counselor Libby Towers.

Students honored at the Paton-Churdan Achievement Breakfast were (front, from left) Karissa Stephenson, Forest Thompson, Connor Brus, Jacob Geisler, Eric Thompson, Clayton Smith and Chloe Berns; and (back, from left) Kattie Minnehan, Cara Meseck, Kaleb Fisher, Madi Minnehan, Danielle Hoyle, Kyla Beyers, Carter Meseck, Ariana Roper, Megan Carey, Jenna Beyers, Jon Thede, Jack Bryson, Hannah Bundt and Tessa Steimel.

She also thanked meal sponsors Sparky’s One Stop of Churdan and the Jefferson Fareway and Hy-Vee stores.
