Parents of a child who turns 4 years old before or on Sept. 15, 2018, and who live in the Greene County school district should plan to attend pre-kindergarten registration Thursday, April 19.
The come-and-go event will start at 3:30 pm and end at 7 pm; parents can come any time at their convenience. There will be no parent meeting and no screening process. Stations will be set up to allow parents to complete what they must so their child is ready to start school in the fall.
Parents are asked to bring their child’s birth certificate and Social Security card. Copies will be made to place in the student’s cumulative file. Childcare will be provided in one of the pre-K rooms.
Parents who haven’t called the elementary school office are asked to call 515-386-3178 to provide contact information.
