As part of celebrating the holiday season, Wild Rose Casino & Resort Jefferson allowed employees to have a door decorating contest. Most of these doors were those of the department managers. The winning department was to receive $250 to donate to a qualified nonprofit organization of their choice. It was also determined that the doors would be judged by a member of the community.
On Dec. 15, the Jefferson Matters group judged the doors and determined the winning department to be the Security Division.
Those employees decided to donate to the local Shop with a Cop program hosted by the Greene County sheriff’s office and Jefferson police department. These funds will be a start-up for the 2018 Christmas season.
