The traveling trophies for the Family Feud~Jefferson Edition are reluctantly being turned over by the 2016 winners, Bunkers Dunkers and Mom Jeans 4 Life. Last year’s host Doug Rieder stopped to collect the trophy from Randy and Phyllis Bunkers, who with their family participated in last year’s FUNraiser for Jefferson Matters: Main Street.
As the picture shows, the Bunkers want to hang on to this valuable prize, but it needs to be ready to pass on to the 2017 winners. The Bunkers have proudly displayed their trophy at their business, Bunkers Dunkers, for the past year.
The Family Feud committee has set Saturday, Oct. 21, for this year’s event to be held at History Boy Theater in the Main Street district. Four teams will vie for the two traveling trophies with these teams to be announced soon.
Tickets will go on sale in the next few weeks with a limited seating of 125. Appetizers from local businesses will be featured during the social hour at 6:30 pm with BYOB. The first round of Family Feud will begin at 7:30 pm with the second round following.
After the show, a dessert bar and wine tasting will complete the evening. This committee asks the public to get the date on the calendar and plan to attend. This project helps to finance the many projects of Jefferson Matters: Main Street.
