The Greene County Fair is approaching and 4-H youth have several donations to be grateful for. Home State Bank again purchased a fair T-shirt for each 4-H member. Each member will receive a punch card worth $10 from Farmers Mutual Insurance Association/Complete Insurance; a $5 punch card from Farm Credit Services in Carroll; and a coupon for an ice cream cone from Greene County Corn Growers, all redeemable at Clover Café during the fair.
“We are so fortunate to have wonderful community supporters who provide shirts and Clover Café coupons for the 200+ youth participating in 4-H this year. Each 4-H member will be able to get several meals and be dressed for judging thanks to these donations,” said Kayla Hyett, Greene County youth and 4-H coordinator.
The Greene County Fair starts Tuesday, July 11, with the judging of static exhibits in Clover Hall beginning at 8:30 am.
