The line was long to see the 9/11 Never Forget mobile exhibit at Wild Rose Jefferson Saturday, but area residents have three more days to visit. The exhibit is open at no charge Sunday and Monday from 12 to 6 pm and Tuesday, July 4, from 2 to 8 pm.

Free tae kwon do, coed softball, mini cheer offered
Shin’s Tae Kwon Do Academy is offering a July session of free tae kwon do classes at the Greene County Community Center. The classes are open to all students ages 7-16 and will be Sundays July 9, 16, 23 and 30 from 2 to 3:30 pm.

All Iowa drivers are reminded that effective July 1, they must change lanes or slow down when approaching stationary utility and maintenance vehicles with flashing lights activated. That includes. garbage, tow, and bucket trucks, and all other utility vehicles. Across the country, all states have “move over” laws, but only 12 states specifically protect utility service vehicles.
