“Marijuana: What’s the Big Deal?” is the topic at the Community Conversation Thursday, March 2, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Jefferson.
Speaker is Angie Baack, community prevention consultant at New Opportunities. Baack will explain various products containing THS, signs and symptoms of abuse, emerging and current trends, myths and facts, and the latest research on medical marijuana. Parents of pre-teens and teens are strongly encouraged to attend.
Refreshments and fellowship will begin at 5 pm, with Baack speaking at 5:30.
