Hardin Happy Hustlers: The monthly meeting of the Hardin Happy Hustlers was held Dec. 4 at the Extension office in Jefferson. There were 16 members present. Gabe Ebersole led the club in the 4-H pledge, and Jared Marshall gave the treasurer’s report.

Old business included officer training in Boone on Dec. 2, which was at the Boone County Extension office at 6:30. December 11 was beef weigh.

New business included the beef project meeting on Dec. 4 at the Extension office in Jefferson and the first meeting of the Shooting Sports Club on Dec. 15. The club discussed plans for the annual “fun” meeting for the January meeting. It was decided to go to Hidden Acres again this year with a back-up plan of bowling in Jefferson if it couldn’t be arranged.

Presentations were given by Dalton Ostrander on ”How to make a bank pole for fishing”; Hannah Curtis on “Homemade telescope”; Jared Marshall on “Europe Trip” and Lucas Fisher on “Citizen Washington Focus 4-H trip”.

The meeting was then adjourned. Club members enjoyed snacks provided by Tieryn Tucker, Dalton Ostrander and Shailynne Woodley. ~Hannah Curtis, secretary
