Jeff fire dept orders new air packs
New air packs are on their way to the Jefferson fire department. City clerk Diane Kennedy reported to the city council last week on behalf of fire chief Randy Love that the department has ordered nine air packs, 16 bottles, and 13 masks and amplifiers.

In Greene County magistrate court a judgment was entered against Brett Everett Grundon of Grand Junction in a case initiated in district court last November. A charge of operating while intoxicated-first offense was amended to public intoxication, a simple misdemeanor. A judgment was entered against Grundon for a $250 fine with an $87.50 surcharge. Court costs were $140.
