Jefferson residents had a bit of summer and a reminder of the coming winter during the week ending Oct. 14.
KCCI’s SchoolNet 8 reports a high temperature of 81 degrees and the first freeze of the season – 32 degrees in the early hours of Thursday.
Jefferson received just .09 inch of rain, allowing harvest to progress.
