JHS class of ’61 gathers for 55-year reunion

Members of the Jefferson High School Class of 1961 came from all over the nation on the weekend of July 8 and 9 to celebrate their graduation for the 11th time at their 55th class reunion.

This photo was taken at the home of Keith and Joan Conroy where the class met on Saturday evening. The girls reformed the JHS Glee Club and offered a rendition of “Playmate, Come Out and Play with Me.” And an auction of a sculpture, “Bell of Plenty,” designed and welded by Keith Conroy for the 2016 Bell Tower sculpture contest (it didn’t make the cut for that competition, but was admired and praised by his classmates) garnered $600 for the class fun and flower fund.
