Mother Nature smiled on the Greene County Fair during the week that ended July 15. Rain early Tuesday made the parking area just a little softer than perfect, but livestock exhibitors didn’t have to worry about heat stress on their animals like they have in recent year.
High temperature for the week according to KCCI’s SchoolNet 8 Jefferson site was 95 degrees on Monday, before any livestock arrived at the fair. Low temperature was 59 degrees. Jefferson received .91 inch of precipitation.
