Paton-Churdan honors academic achievement

Paton-Churdan held its first high school academic breakfast Wednesday, May 25.  High School freshmen, sophomores and juniors with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher were honored with breakfast. 

Students enjoyed breakfast pizza, sausage, fruit, Virginia Wilson’s homemade rolls and more. “It was great to be able to recognize our student’s for their hard work,” said school at-risk counselor Libby Towers. 

Honored were freshmen Jenna Byers, Aubri Roper, Jack Bryson, Eric Thompson and Clay Smith; sophomores Maria Tasler, Mariah Tasler, Madisyn Behrens, Megan Carey, Jake Berns and Jacob Thompson; and junior Chase Juergensen.

Later in the morning staff students in kindergarten through eighth grade were recognized for their academic successes this past year with an awards assembly.
