Scranton Fishing Day set for June 4

We hope we have you hook, line and sinker for the fifth annual Scranton Kids Fishing Days——- It’s four weeks until the fun begins at the Scranton Pond park. Mark the date of Saturday, June 4, 11 am – 2 pm. This is also free fishing weekend for all the parents as well. Children ages 4-17 years old are welcome.

Registration forms are available at the Scranton public library and Peoples Trust & Savings Bank in Scranton as well as through Leesa and Ashley Squibb and Wendy Johnson.

To be eligible for the name drawings and prizes, youngsters much be registered by May 27.

Parents must attend this event with their child for safety reasons. All prizes will be given to the young fishermen who are in attendance so children must be there to win. There have been many gracious donors again this year and the organizers are wishing everyone a fun, exciting time. Hopefully Mother Nature will cooperate this year but if not, the event will be held indoors.
