All childcare providers and anyone interested in doing childcare in their home is invited to a celebration Tuesday, May 17, at 6:30 pm and the ISU Extension & Outreach office at 104 W. Washington St in Jefferson.
There will be light refreshments, door prizes and demonstrations on “How to Stretch your Food Dollars” and “Healthy Snack Ideas”. Attendees can also learn more about child care services in Greene County.
Organizers note that in Greene County, 81 percent of families with children under age 6 have all parents working outside the home.
