Moving into an active past president role is Omega Sang, who has served as president the past year. “It has been my pleasure to serve as Chamber president during a challenging year in which we made tough decisions, revisioning our purpose and role within a changing structure of community organizations,” Sang said. “The future looks bright for the Chamber as I step back to devote more time to my growing family. I’m confident the Chamber is moving in the right direction.”

Sang, store manager at Wells Fargo in Jefferson, joined the Chamber board in July 2013. She chaired the organization committee and was instrumental in forming the committee structure and the dues structure now in place. She plans to continue as a board member and chair of that committee.

“It’s a great time for the Chamber as we move toward our goal of fostering thriving relationships between individuals, businesses and organizations, serving as a leader, advocate and resource for Greene County businesses,” Stevens said. “I’m very excited to see what opportunities are ahead for the Chamber, and how we can leverage those opportunities for our members.”
