Bidding now open in ‘Holiday of Lights’ at the medical center

H of L Happy Sam the SnowmanThe trees and wreaths now on display in the main lobby and in the sunny corridor of the new expansion of Greene County Medical Center are part of the auxiliary’s annual “Holiday of Lights.” The fundraiser is always well in advance of the holidays so the highest bidders can make their new items part of their holiday décor at home.

H of L Hawkeye treeThe public is invited to view the festive display now through Wednesday, Dec. 2. Trees, wreaths, door and table decorations are all up for silent auction, which will end at 3 pm that day.

Medical center departments, local organizations, businesses and individuals have decorated 31 Christmas trees, holiday wreaths and other holiday items. Not only is the Holiday of Lights festive, it’s a good fundraiser as well. All funds raised by the auxiliary are used for equipment needs of the medical center.H of L line up
