A luncheon slated for next Sunday at First United Methodist Church in Jefferson features grilled chicken hindquarters and Mexican rice, with potato salad, desserts and beverages rounding out the menu.
Serving will be from 11:30 am to 1 pm. The luncheon will be “dine in” at the Fellowship Hall at 307 S. Wilson, or take-outs can be picked up across the street at the Webb House.
Tickets are $7 for adults and $4 for children ages 4-12. Children 3 and younger eat free. Hosts for the luncheon are members of the church youth group, and all proceeds will go toward registration fees for YOUTH QUAKE 2016 in Des Moines next January.
All are invited to the luncheon.
