Jefferson Elks lodge 2306 will hold its annual Heroes Dinner Friday, Sept. 11 at the lodge in Jefferson.
All veterans, current members of the Armed Forces, National Guard and Reserves, volunteer firefighters, emergency medical responders and law enforcement personnel, and their spouses, are invited. There is no charge.
A social time will begin at 6 pm. Dinner will be served at 6:30 and a short program will follow at 7:15. The program will end with Taps at 8 pm.
The special salute dinner is part of Elks’ Patriotism Week.
