New bleachers for a new season of Ram sports

Ram fans will have safer, more accessible bleachers at Linduska Field for the coming football season. A good-sized crew from Boland Recreation of Marshalltown spent two weeks  installing 15-row, 166-foot elevated aluminum bleachers on the “home” side of the field. The first week in August wasn’t as hot as it often is in Iowa. According to weather data provided by volunteer observer John Beltz, the high temperature was 88 degrees and the low temperature was 59 degrres. Jefferson received less than one-tenth of an inch of rain during the week.
