Warm and sunny weather helped dry out soil conditions and aided crop development during the week ending July 5, according to the USDA, National Agricultural Statistics Service. Rams drop non-conference baseball game to Ogden

A pitcher who strikes out 11 batters usually gets a win for the game, unless his teammates commit six errors. Ram senior pitcher Colton Fitzpatrick had 11 strikeouts but took the loss in a 6-4 game against the Ogden Bulldogs in Jefferson Tuesday. In Greene County district court Frederick James Lonsdale, 41, of Rippey was sentenced to five years in prison after he pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver.
