Wild Rose Jefferson announced Monday that country icon and pop crossover artist Kenny Rogers will headline the casino’s grand opening entertainment. Rogers will perform Friday, Aug. 7, at 7:30 pm in the Greene Room Event Center at Wild Rose Jefferson. Tickets are on sale on the Wild Rose website.
“Kenny Rogers is a legendary entertainer, and we wanted a performer of his stature to celebrate what the people of Greene County and the surrounding area have accomplished over the past two years,” said Gary Kirke, founder of and chairman of Wild Rose. “Building a project like this doesn’t happen without the support and effort of the community. This grand opening celebration is really for all the people who worked so tirelessly to make it happen.”
The grand opening celebration takes place over three days, starting on Friday, Aug. 7, at 10 am with “A Token of Our Appreciation Giveaway.” The first 200 people will receive a commemorative .999 fine silver, custom-minted Wild Rose token.
