Grand Junction city clerk Katherine Thomas reminds Grand Junction residents that the city’s snow parking ordinance goes into effect when snow begins falling and remains in effect until the snowfall ends and the streets have been cleared. Enforcement includes streets, alleys and public parking.
The Jefferson snow parking ordinance goes into effect with one-half inch of snow. Enforcement includes all residential streets and continues until all snow is cleared. In the downtown area, on-street parking is banned only from 2 to 6 am.
