In Greene County magistrate court a judgment was entered Feb. 13 in a case initiated in district court against Rafael Partida Jr of Jefferson. Partida pleaded guilty to a charge of harassment-simple, amended from harassment-first degree. He was fined $100 with a $35 surcharge. He must also pay $90 restitution for his court appointed attorney’s fees and $100 court costs. Charges in a companion magistrate case of interference with official acts and disorderly conduct were dismissed.
A judgment was entered against Michael Alexander Carlson of Jefferson on a charge of trespass. Carlson was fined $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 court costs.
Cases were initiated in magistrate court as follows: Amelia Marie Kennedy of Jefferson, assault; Brandon Lee Makinson of Lohrville, violation of no contact order; Lance Michael Ross of Grand Junction, possession of drug paraphernalia, interference with official acts and false report to law enforcement; and Kevin Armando Montoya of Jefferson, possession of drug paraphernalia, interference with official acts and false report to law enforcement.
