Karilynn Ordonez de Leon, CNA/CMA was recognized as Employee of the Month for January at Regency Park Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Jefferson. She is pictured with administrator Randy Downey (left) and director of nursing Beverly Mentzer (right).
Ordonez de Leon has been a certified nursing assistant for 16 years at Regency and has also been a certified medication assistant for more than 10 years.
Ordonez de Leon is a Scranton native and graduated from Jefferson-Scranton High School. She and her husband Juan José live in Perry. Their boys Taylor (12) and José (13) keep them busy with their school and sports.
She said her favorite thing about working for Regency Park is that she loves being able to provide care to the residents as if they were her family, and she takes the most pride in making her residents smile.
