Greene County Medical Center CEO Carl Behne will be in Scranton on Wednesday, Jan. 28, at 8:30 am at the Community Center as part of his community “Coffee with Carl” discussions. Behne visits every Greene County community in an effort to keep everyone up-to-date on happenings at the medical center.
The public is encouraged to attend this informal event where coffee and donuts will be provided.
Behne will give an update on the building project, capital campaign and medical center services. There will be plenty of time for questions and answers during the event.
These community “Coffee with Carl” events are an extension of the internal coffees Behne has been having with employees since late 2012. On a monthly basis, 10 employees are randomly selected and invited to join Behne for coffee, where they can ask questions relevant to their jobs, department services or the medical center in general.
The community coffees provide the public an opportunity to get updates on happenings at the medical center in the same way. Behne said, “Meeting with the public in their community is a fun way to get out and share our story. It’s important that we keep our communities up-to-date on what’s happening at the medical center and these coffees are a good way to do that.”
