Controlled burn provides fire training

The fire departments from Rippey, Jefferson and Grand Junction had a  joint training Saturday, Oct. 18, in Rippey. The firemen burned a vacant house that is remembered as the home of harry and Erma (Lansing) Burk Holmes.
