Pair of blood drives slated for January

LifeServe Blood CenterLifeServe  Blood Center invites Iowans to celebrate National Blood Donor Month in January by giving a lifesaving blood donation.

Blood Donor Awareness Month creates awareness about the importance of the volunteer blood donor program and the impact blood donors can have in their communities. Donors who give blood in January will receive a “Proud Blood Donor” window cling at the time of their donation.

Drives scheduled in this area are:

  • Paton-Churdan Community Blood Drive, Wednesday, Jan.  7, from 3 to 6:30 p.m. at the Churdan Community Room.
  • Jefferson Community Blood Drive, Tuesday, Jan. 13, from 12:30 to 5:30 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church, 801 W. Lincoln Way.
