Dodgeball in Scranton – good fun and a good cause

Youngsters from around the area enjoy participating in dodgeball at the Scranton Community Center on Saturday evenings during the winter.

Scranton dodgeball kidsLast week, participants were offered a reduced admission price of $1 if they furnished a canned good for the Greene County Christian Action Resource Center (ARC) food pantry. Some of the youngsters posed for a photo with the pile of donations.

According to organizer Dawn Rudolph, the program averages between 50 and 70 school aged children most nights. The program runs November through March with occasional team tournaments.
