The Rippey United Methodist Church choir, under the direction of Brenda Roberts and accompanist, Angela Abbas, presented the cantata “Were You There on That Christmas Night” by Lloyd Larson on Sunday, Dec. 14. The cantata was dedicated in memory of Velda DeMoss.  “Velda was a dear person to us all.  She served her church and her community with such love and servitude.  We were blessed with her voice in our tenor section for so many years, along with a healthy dose of wit!  We thank the many people who came to hear the performance,” said Jean Borgeson.Rippey Methodist cantata
