The Greene County Rams won six of nine wrestling matches against Roland-Story in Story City Thursday night, but R-S had a full lineup, giving the Norsemen 30 points in forfeits. The deficit was too much for the Rams, and they lost the match 48-30.
The six Ram wins were all by fall as follows: 106- Kane Borgeson, 1:54; 132- Abe Yoder, 4:38; 138- Jordan Challen, 3:45; 145- Tommy Bradshaw, :33; 160- Isaiah Yoder, 1:14; and 170- Mark Kendall, 1:14.
Caden Gerdes lost by fall at 126 lbs, Hunter Ruth lost by fall at 195, and George Zito lost by fall at 220.
Open classes for the Rams were at 113, 120, 152, 182 and 285.
The Rams are at 1-4 on the season and 0-1 in the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference. The Norsemen are 3-3 overall and 2-0 in the HOIAC.
