Greene County magistrate court, week ending

In Greene County magistrate court cases were initiated during the week ending Dec. 5 as follows: Haley Marie Carrick of Scranton, interference with official acts; and Dacoda Lee Lawrence of Scranton, possession of drug paraphernalia.

Persons paid fines for scheduled traffic violations during the week ending Dec. 6 as follows: Dominic Dakota Crandall of Panora, turning at intersection violation, $100; James Parke Caffrey of Boone and Kyle Joi Niles of Paton, operation without registration, $50; Laurie Ann Wahl of Rockwell City, unsafe backing on highway, $100; and Jared Lynn Ahrens of Boone and Kelsey Joann Hostetler of Jefferson, failure to carry registration card, $20.

Also, speed, $80 (11-15 mph over limit): *Kasey Michael O’Rourke of Sigourney, Harmony Nicole Thompson of Jefferson and * Peter Jon Waltz of Algona,

Judgments were entered against individuals for nonpayment of scheduled fines as follows (original fine listed): Erica Marie Mitchell of Jefferson, failure to wear/maintain safety belt, $50; Sheila Kaye Isom of Churdan, speed, $20; and Larry Varnell of Churdan, speed, $80.

The judgment includes a penalty of one-half the original fine and surcharge.

Court costs were $60 on each citation unless otherwise noted.
