October weather data compiled by volunteer weather observer John Beltz verifies it was a lovely October in Jefferson. The average high temperature was just a bit cooler than average, at 63.4 degrees compared to the normal 64.5 degrees. The average low temperature was almost two degrees warmer, too, at 40.4 degrees compared to the normal 38.7 degrees.
