Hardin Happy Hustlers

The Hardin Happy Hustlers 4-H Club held its Sept. 7 meeting at the Extension office in Jefferson. The club discussed the Oct. 18 fundraiser lunch at West Central coop and then adjourned. Members next did their semi-annual ditch clean-up along a stretch of Highway 4 north of Jefferson, and finished the day with treats at Dairy Queen.

The club held election of officers at its Oct. 5 meeting at the Extension office. New officers are president Tressa Rasmussen, vice president Noelle Gray, secretary Jared Marshall, treasurer Molly Hoskins, and photographer/historian Tori Tucker. The club discussed the upcoming fundraiser at West Central coop scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 18.  There was a discussion of what activities the club wants to do this upcoming year.

Just a reminder, the 4-H Awards Ceremony is Nov. 2 at 2 pm at the Greene County High School auditorium. After the meeting adjourned,  the group walked to Prairie Blue to decorate the window for National 4-H Week.

The November meeting will be held Sunday, Nov. 9, at Clover Hall.
