“The Music Man” in rehearsal

Music Man townspeopleChoir members at Greene County High School are putting in extra hours at school preparing their production of Meredith Willson’s Iowa classic “The Music Man.”

Senior Parker Sims is Professor Harold Hill, the Music Man, and junior Victoria Sims is Marian Paroo, Marian the Librarian. Dave Heupel is directing the musical, assisted by Darren Jackson and Clay Ross, with Hannah Sundberg providing rehearsal accompaniments. Sundberg and a community ensemble will do the accompanying at the performance.

The students will do evening performances Friday and Saturday, Nov. 7 and 8, and a matinee Sunday, Nov. 9. Watch for  more information when tickets become available.
