Auxiliary Table Talk event at Clover Hall next month

Reserve tables by Oct. 1

Table TalkThe 12th annual Table Talk salad luncheon, sponsored by the Greene County Medical Center auxiliary, will be held  Saturday, Oct. 18, starting with table viewing at 11:30 am and lunch beginning at 12:15 pm The event will take place in Clover Hall at the Greene County Fairgrounds. Dr David Jaskey of Advanced Women’s Care will serve as the emcee again this year.

Hosting a table for $40 gives social organizations and individual groups the opportunity to “host” a table of eight. Table hosts can create a theme and decorate an 8’ table accordingly – including table service and dessert. The dessert is for the table guests. The group is also asked to bring a salad capable of feeding 16 which becomes part of the shared “salad luncheon.”

The auxiliary will provide the 8’ tables, chairs, drinks, dinner rolls and serving spoons for the salads.

According to Shelly Berger, administrative assistant and auxiliary liaison at the medical center, “We invite all clubs, businesses, coffee groups or birthday groups to celebrate together by decorating a table and enjoying a salad lunch with friends or family this fall at Table Talk.”

For those who can’t attend this social event, “Star” sponsorships are available at three levels: Sterling Star Sponsorship ($500); Platinum Star Sponsorship ($250); and Gold Star Sponsorship ($100). There will also be a raffle during the event, and raffle donations are being accepted. All proceeds from the luncheon will be used by the auxiliary to purchase equipment for the medical center.

Tables and sponsorships should be secured by Oct 1. For more information, contact auxilian Ann Frederick at 641-427-5781 or Shelly Berger at the medical center at 515-386-0114, shelly.berger@gcmchealth.com.
