Greene County magistrate court, week ending July 25

In Greene County magistrate court a judgment was entered July 23 against Katelin Rae Lowmiller of Jefferson in a case initiated in district court in which Lowmiller was charged with theft-fourth degree. The charge was amended to theft-fifth degree. Lowmiller was sentenced to 30 days in jail; the jail time was suspended and she was placed on informal probation for one year. The minimum fine and surcharge were suspended. Lowmiller must pay $371.31 restitution, $30 restitution for her court appointed attorney’s fees, and $121 court costs.

A judgment for a $100 fine with a $35 surcharge was entered July 23 against Crystal Lynn Heard of Jefferson on a charge of violation of a no contact order- aiding and abetting.

A judgment for a $65 fine with a $22.75 surcharge was entered July 23 against Donald Duane Daniel of Scranton on a charge of disorderly conduct.

A judgment of $65 with a $22.75 surcharge was entered July 23 against Kaleigh Cristin Gross of Jefferson on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Court costs were $60 unless otherwise specified.

Cases were initiated in magistrate court as follows: Tracy William McDonald of Lake City, disorderly conduct; Clay Thomas Paulson of Grand Junction, providing alcohol to persons under age 21 (16 counts); Tyler Austin Erickson of McCallsburg, interference with official acts; and Colbie James Hefler of Ogden, providing false identification and interference with official acts.

Persons paid fines for scheduled traffic violations during the week ending July 25 as follows: Leah Lynn Perry of Grand Junction, failure to secure child, $150; Tricia Lynne Trueblood of Gowrie, failure to wear/maintain seat belt, $75; Anna Elizabeth Determann of Glidden, dark window/windshield, $50; *Gregory Alan Nath of Perry, speed, $120; *Foster Cole Harrison of Paton, possession of alcohol under age, first offense, $200; and Dan Thomas Eston of Bagley, operation with expired driver’s license, $50.

Also, speed, $80 (11-15 mph over limit): *Nicholas Joseph Janning of Scranton and *Tesfaye N. Negussie of Perry.

Speed, $40 (6-10 over): *Douglas Graydon Hays of Farragut, *Cory Jerome Halbur of Carroll, *Dean Allyn Hepp of Rockwell City, *David W. Groh of Fremont, NE, and *Richard Arthur Pearson of Rippey.

Speed, $20 (1-5 over): Glenn Skipper Boyce of Gaston, SC, Dorenda Jean Wheeler of Brandon, MS, *Gloria Diane Power of Davenport; Randall Wayne Lagerblade of Johnston, and *David Joseph Borkowski of Carroll.

Failure to stop/yield as posted, $100: *Rebeca Jane Schroeder of Jefferson.

Judgments were entered during the week ending July 25 against individuals for nonpayment of scheduled fines as follows (original fine listed): Kristina M. Hoyle of Churdan, *Ray L. Stanton of Scranton and David Patrick Most of Jefferson, all speed, $20; Nicholas Joseph Feilmeier of Early, speed, $90; Josephine Marie Ennenga of Ogden, speed, $120; Robert Mitchell Willis of Jefferson, supply alcohol to person under age- employee, $500; Kathy Mae Henrichs of Duncombe, speed, $120, paid fine and $53 toward surcharge and costs, judgment entered for remaining $56.50; Sherry Lynne Hoadley of Churdan, no valid driver’s license, $175, paid $25 of fine, judgment entered for remaining $150 of fine, $75 surcharge and $60 costs; Heather Rose Schroeder of Jefferson, failure to wear/maintain seat belt, 450; Trinity Glen Welch of Grand Junction, failure to maintain control, $100; and Brant Duane Astleford of Cedar Rapids, failure to have valid driver’s license, $200.

The judgment includes a penalty of one-half the original fine and surcharge.
