4-H The Hardin Happy Hustlers 4-H club held its June meeting at the Extension Office.

Roll call was to name something fun you have done so far this summer. Various forms needed for Fair projects were discussed. All members are encouraged to enter at least one project for a static judging day which is on Tuesday, July 8.  Ideas for the club’s Fair booth were discussed, following this year’s Fair theme of “Ticket to Success”. Fair clean up is Sunday, July 6, at 1 pm. Please come dressed ready to work and bring rakes, shovels, etc. Fair books and club work schedules for the Fair were handed out.

A number of members gave presentations. Ben Bravard, “How to Pitch a Baseball”; Izzy Bravard, “How to do a Back Flip”; Nick Killion, “Bow Hunting”; Lauryn Killion, “How to Play the Flute”; Zach Burbank, “Glow in the Dark Water”; Tieryn Tucker, “How to Bat a Ball in Softball”; Tory Tucker, “No Bake Cookies”; and Tressa Rasmussen, “How to Slap Hit a Softball.” After the meeting was adjourned at 2:44, Marshalls and Bravards served a small snack.
