Parent Night June 2
Parents of children interested in preschool for 3-year-olds in the Greene County School District are invited to a Parent Night Monday, June 2, at 6:30 pm at the elementary school located at 401 E Russell in Jefferson.
To be eligible for the preschool for 3-year-olds, children need to be 3 years old on or before Sept. 15, 2014, and live within the Greene County School District. The tuition-based preschool for 3-year-olds will be located at the elementary school in Jefferson. Classes will meet two half days per week.
Tuition will be $125 per month for the program. There is Partnership 4 Families grant money available to assist with tuition for those who qualify. Parents will receive information regarding that program at this parent night. Parents of students that may attend the Head Start/JumpStart program ford 3-year-olds are encouraged to attend also.
Parents are requested to bring their child’s birth certificate, Social Security card, immunization record, and any other legal documentation that they would like the school to have on file. Since this is a meeting where parents receive much information, it is also requested that children do not attend this meeting. For more information call the elementary at 515-386-3178.
