The Mahanay Memorial Bell Tower will begin its pre-season hours this weekend. The Bell Tower will be open Saturdays and Sundays in May from 10 am to 4 pm, according to Bell Tower Foundation president Carole Custer.
To celebrate the opening, the Bell Tower Foundation will give May baskets of candy to the first 25 people who ride up the elevator to the observation deck Saturday.
“What better vantage point is there than the top of the Bell Tower to watch as Greene County fields green up for another growing season?” Custer asked.
