Greene County magistrate court, week ending April 11

In Greene County magistrate court a judgment for a $65 fine with a $22.75 surcharge was entered April 2 against Terry Ran Anschutz of Grand Junction on a charge of theft-fifth degree.  Anschutz must also pay a $125 Law Enforcement Initiative surcharge and $60 court costs. Charges of trespass and possession of stolen property were dismissed.

Persons paid fines for scheduled traffic violations April 3-11 as follows: Levi Eugene Dawson of Bagley, operation without registration, $50; Matthew David Burgart of Churdan, failure to prove security against financial liability, $250; Scott Patrick Graham of Jefferson, failure to display registration plate, $20; and Judith Lucille Johnson of Panora, improper use of three or more lanes, $100.

Also, speed, $80 (11-15 mph over limit): *Josep Dean Reiter of Vail.

Speed, $40 (6-10 over): Bradley Alan Whitmore of Mason City, Kimberly Shahenna Rodriguez Lopez of Jefferson, *Stormy Dawn Brown of Cooper, and *Lindsay Kay Anderson of Tracy.

Speed, $20 (1-5 over): Jennifer Jean Hicks of Lake City, *Douglas Leroy Ott of Jefferson, Larry Eugene Suter of Alta, and Bernadette Marie Henrich of Carroll.

Commercial motor vehicle violations: Richard Eugene Moore of Dexter, maximum gross weight violation, $240.

Judgments were entered against individuals for nonpayment of scheduled fines as follows (original fine listed): *Arianna Alexandra Kefgen of Dakoa Dunes, SD, speed, $40; *Kimberly Kayannn Bratcher of Grand Junction and Nicole Lynn Anderson of Ogden, both speed, $80; Jordan Michael Henkel of Lake City, speed, $105; Danielle Jean Woodard of Jefferson, failure to prove security against financial liability, $250; Jeanette Gerloff of Churdan, failure to yield right of way at stop sign, $100; and Brittiany Ore of Grand Junction, operation without registration, $50.

The judgment includes a penalty of one-half the original fine and surcharge.

Court costs were $60 on each citation unless otherwise noted.

*An additional $5 county surcharge was added.
