A trio of Greene County High school seniors who are planning to study agriculture or natural resources in college have been awarded scholarships.
Sean Kenan of Grand Junction has been awarded a $1,000 scholarship from Greene Soil & Water Conservation Club; Dorthea Ballard of Jefferson will receive a $500 scholarship from the Greene County Soil & Water Conservation District; and Abby Bravard of Jefferson wil receive a $500 scholarship from the Environmental Habitat Corp.
“The Greene SWCD Commissioners, Conservation Club members, and the Environmental Habitat Corp. wish all three young adults the very best at college in the fall,” a spokesperson said.
