About 120 boys and mothers and a few grandmothers spent Friday evening together at the first annual Mother-Son Date Night hosted by the Jefferson park and recreation department at the Greene County Community Center.
The evening included plenty of pizza, bingo (with prizes!), and gym time. Special games like target golf and Bags were set up, and several couples opted for two-generation games of Knock-Out.
The event was planned at the request of mothers who felt left out of the fun with the Daddy-Daughter Dance, which has become an extremely popular February event.
