Trinity Lutheran tells March speakers

The schedule for the Community Fellowship series at Trinity Lutheran Church in Jefferson has been announced for March.

Every Wednesday, the doors open at 3 pm for social time. A speaker begins a program at 4 pm, generally with time for questions and answers at the close. A light supper is served at 5:30, with a free will donation accepted. All ages are invited.

The March schedule is as follows:

March 5- Brad Riphagen, Trees Forever field coordinator, will speak about trees, planting, pruning, and the emerald ash borer.

March 12- Carol Jensen, Parent and Community Services specialist for West Central Community Action: Child Care Resource and Referral, and Cindy Duhrkopf, area director of Partnerships 4 Families, will speak on “Child Care: My children are grown, why should I be concerned?” How childcare affects employers, employees, schools and economic development.

March 19- Jim Daubendiek, CEO of Jefferson Telecom, discussing fiber optics.

March 26- Scott Graham, HR professional, “Career Development: Stairstep to Success?”
